Coffs Harbour

got to coffs at 6am and hung around the hostel until they opened at 8am. it was turning out to be a really hot day so we went to the beach. the beach was separated from the town by a big field which made it feel less like a town beach. it was a great big beach with good waves so we went to the surf school to see if they could teach me to surf the next day. they only had availability with the kids group but we decided to go for it anyway! brtamm spotted a shark in the sea near where we were swimming so we got out the sea as fast as we could! then we went to the doctors and i had the implant in my arm removed because it was a nightmare! with that gone we wer in a good mood and headed back to the hostel for noodles. the hostel was ok but there were too many drunkards roaming around. the next day we got up early and went to surf school. the kids were all about 8-11 and were really funny, they thought i was a helper teacher or something but i told them i was just a beginner like them and they thought i was less cool then. the surfing was amazing, i got a huge board which makes it easier to stand up and helena, the teacher had me standing up about 30 mins! bramm had the use of a board for free because helena was generous and he went into the deeper water and saw a big stingray- the beach was quite deadly really! but it was really good fun and wer going to hire bords for more practise the next chance we get!
