We arrived in Fiji in high spirits due to the excitement of Sydney and the anticpation of sunshine. As soon as we arrived, the group split for the first time of tour, and Natalie went off to stay at the Warwick Resort with her mum and sister who were holidaying. Us boys, rid of the girl, were free.

We were booked in to The Beachhouse which we found out on arrival was the location for last year's "Celebrity" Love Island . So we got to lay in the same hammocks as Bianca Gascoigne, Colleen Shannon and Sophie Anderton (who, conincidently, we saw at Heathrow at the start of our trip!!). Unfortunatley they weren't still in the hammocks when we spent the entire afternoon mooching in them.

You can defintley tell that the programme was filmed here. There are still some way-one glass in huts around the pool and the dorm used was turned into the main lounge. The dorms were really good too and obviously the money they got from the show has been well spent. But it's not actually on an Island at all!! It's on the South of the main land so it's all very deceptive!!

On the first night, in true backpacker style, we headed to Natalie's resort for a decent meal. We had some of the local fish and a good night catching up with Noreen and Louise. I'll let Nat tell you how the rest of her week in a posh resort went!!

The next day us boys did some more mooching. In the afternoon we started throwing a rugby ball around on the beach when some local kids joined in. We ended up spending the whole afternoon playing a game of touch rugby. They were pretty good players and very quick. And the youngest was only about 7!! We could tell already of the love Fijians have for the game. And the kids were pretty good at English as well!!

That night we had a few beers and decided that it was probably best to move on for our next Fijian adventure....
