HEllooooooo everyone!
So, in Argentina, for their spring break, they have ¨Semana Santa¨ which is for the Easter week. So, me and a couple of friends went to Bariloche, Patagonia, which is more southern, western Argentina. It was a 20 hour bus ride, but totally well worth it.
Bariloche has soooo much to see. It is a touristy ski town. The ski mountain is supposed to be amazing, but it is fall turning winter here, so there will be no snow until July. Anyway, there are about 10-15 huge lakes that are concentrated in this area that are also surrounded by mountains. Honestly, these pictures dont do it justice. The water is sooo blue and clear becuase it is straight glacier water. We actually drank out a pond of glacier water..and it tasted better than bottled water because it is that pure. Prettyyy cool.....

While we were there, we went Horseback riding, kayaking, canopying (where you go on a cable over the tree lines), lots of hiking, and of course the normal touristy stuff. I ate probably 400 pounds of chocolate and icecream becuase it was THAT good. Bariloche is famous for awesome chocolate. Also, we stayed in a really cool hostel ...which means you meet people from all around the world. I love hostels.
We made friends with our Argentine tour guides! haha...they were so fun. The last night we went to dinner and had a food fight in the middle of the restuarant. Hey...its Argentina..no one cares. =)

If anyone comes to Argentina, this place it a MUST. I couldnt live in Buenos Aires for a longgg period of time becuase it is such a big city, but I could live here...it is Colorado...but prettier...which is really really hard to do. Oh, and the people are sooo nice. That is a must =)
Okay...I am off! Take care everyone and hope to hear from some of yall soon!
Besos
Jessica
