The Wild, Wild West

We happen upon Old Tucson Studios on a drive out of the city - and so glad we did. It began as a film set in the 1930s for the movie 'Arizona' and has been used in loads of Western films ever since. Today, it has lots to see and do - actors help keep the tourists entertained (we catch a bank robbery and a can-can show!), we take a train ride around the studios and drive a mini vintage car, visit a spooky old mine complete with fake skeletons and see famous props including the train used in Wild, Wild West and the set from the High Chaparrel. Later, we continue on to where we were originally heading - Saguaro National Park to take a closer look at the desert and cacti.
