Decided to change plans as hostel in Edinburgh was full of Welsh Rugby followers there for a 6 Nations game against Scotland. Kept us up half the night and we didn't fancy another night like that so headed over to Glasgow after touring Edinburgh on a bus with a witty commentary. Where do these people come from? Went to Hollyrood Castle where Liz and whanau stay when in Scotland. No one home at the moment though. Also went to the National Art Gallery which had some impressive works. Youth Hostel in Glasgow is very nice although a wee way away from town centre. Lots of walking being done. Might head out to Loch Lomond tomorrow. No photos at the moment until we can find an internet place to plug in the camera.

Just going to have dinner in the really nice little cafe attached to the hostel and then I think it might be an early night tonight after the lack of sleep last night.  (It was all pretty revolting having to listen to these blokes all night rave on and then to make matters worse I went to the toilet and there were some in the female toilets making a mess - not quite sure just what I said to them but at 4pm in the morning my patience is pretty limited!!) So our first experience of using a backpackers here was pretty eventful.  Never mind - this one is an absolute palace except we have to sleep in separate dorms tonight.
