It was the second day at sea, whole day of nothing planned but a Bingo game that Ekta was excited about and a soccer game that excited me. We had planned to relax fully after 3 adventerous days in Alaska. Our celebrity status was also now starting to become a little bit of a problem, with strangers starting conversation, but I guess everyone was on a vacation and this was the last time we would meet any of them.

Started the day as usual, with breakfast in the Windjammer, just too much choice, but really mouthwatering good. By the time we finished, it was time for Ekta to run off for her game of Bingo, the jackpot was about $6K. I roamed around the top deck for a bit and enjoyed views of the Inside Passage. Now,  Inside passage is a narrow channel thats barely 350 feet wide and only 100 feet deep. Tree covered islands on both sides were really scenic and the ice covered peaks in the background were just majestic.

I walked down to the Schooner Bar to watch the soccer match on big screen as France edged out Portugal. I was backing France while most of the others were Portugese supporters. The conversation was very interesting as I chatted with a Lebanese soccer fan who seemed pretty hardcore and a Sweedish guy who was linesman in the last WorldCup. I had my only beer of the cruise and then moved to the lounge to help Ekta lose a little more money at Bingo.

We had a light lunch followed by a short nap and then spend a couple of hours sitting and talking in the poolside sitting area. It was soon time to get dressed for the second black tie event of the cruise. It was preceeded by a broadway show, another second, and both were fantastic. The broadway captured some of the older more famous broadway shows and showed snippets. The dinner was special as the entre of the evening was Lobster Tail. I always thought I  could never eat lobster but I was wrong, it was delicious.

As we entered our room to change before heading over to the Some Enchanted Evening Lounge, a surprise awaited us. Todays tower art was a monkey and it was hanging on a curtain rod wearing my sun glasses, hilarious!
