Day 28 - The Day in Firenze, the night in Venice

Woke up at 9 am to get a head start on our day. Grabbed a quick breakfast and still ended up waiting in line for hours to get inside the Academia to check out the statue of David and other sculptures.

We then went by the Duomo and hiked all 414 stairs to its peak. Amazing views.

We then headed to the market and picked up some stuff before realizing we were sick of the tourist thing and wanted out.

We decided to leave for Venice that evening on the Eurostar. We barely made the train and spent 23 euros to sit on the floor of the train.

We settled into our hotel/hostel in the late evening, grabbed a beer along the canal and went to bed.
