Hello all, I've been out of internet access for a couple of days now hence I haven't been able to update the travel blog.  Luckily nothing really eventful has happened recently.

My geography classes are shaping up.  I actually like all three professors and the content is very interesting.  Also, all three are very similar in that they cover politics in a post-war period.  There is a lot of overlapping content.

The engineering class is sad.  We have a Matlab tutorial due sometime soon and it's going to be very easy.  Students here (3rd years) have not yet used Matlab!  WTF mate?!  The professor had to tell them how to enter commands, open the program, etc.  He didn't do a good job of explaining though but then again, we didn't get our hands held while I fumbled with it.

Today is Thursday the 1st of February.  I was planning on going to Stonehenge today but Laurenda wants to go as well and she has class until 1 pm. We're going to try to go next week thursday.  The overall trip including admission, lunch, and travel is looking to cost 50 pounds!  That's $100 for a one-day trip out to Salisbury!  My trip to Dublin is cheaper than that!

Yesterday our team played against Royal Hallway again.  We won 5-3, it was a high-scoring game.  We were up by quite a bit in the first part of the game but then we got sloppy and really let the game slip a little.  I injured a player.  He claims that his ankle was broken because it "popped".  But he didn't seem to be in any pain at all.  I didn't feel very remorseful because it was his teammate who pushed me into him, not my fault.  Also, I didn't touch his ankle, it must have been the way he fell on it.

This weekend I plan to go to several parks.  Today I think I'll be heading to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.  I'll bring a couple of books with me and a PB&J sandwich per recommendation from Donna.  I think I'll just walk around, snap a couple of pictures, and find a bench to relax and read on.  It's not a nice day out, but it's not terrible either.  The temperature has been rising recently and I feel much more comfortable outside with just a jacket.  Also, this Saturday I will be going to watch Fullham vs. Newcastle play in an FA cup (the most important one) match here at Fullham's stadium.  Jibraun (American from Washington University in St. Louis) and I will be sitting near a goal so hopefully we'll get to see some great action!  Cost = 25 pounds.  Eventually I will make my way to Regent's park and go back to Buckingham palace to watch a guard change.  Other than that I don't really have any plans for this weekend.  I may go back to the Imperial War Museum.  Because of the Imperial War Museum, I've added an unknown location in Poland to my places-to-go list.  Melissa, my flatmate, said she knows of several concentration camps there that were really...in-your-face.  Some of them were abandoned as it was when it was operational so everything is still in tact and in place.

I don't think there's anything else to report.  Talk to you all later!
