The Grand Canyon and Celine Dion

Got up at 5am (very unwillingly ...the bed was so good!) so that we could be at the Grand Canyon for sunrise.  We were so early we didn't even have to pay the $20 admission fee because there was no one at the entrance gate.

There was still lots of snow on the ground around the rim of canyon (it had snowed the day before) and we saw lots of Elks (like deer) wandering in the bushland.

The canyon looked just like you see on the TV and I have to admit that it didn't really do that much for me - perhaps because it felt like I'd already seen it?

Returned to Vegas that afternoon (Wingy drove, I slept) to have dinner at Aladdin's.  Decided at the last minute to go to a Celine Dion ( :(  - I wanted to see Cirque de Sole...) concert at Caesar palace and at 8.25pm bought literally some of the last tickets for the 8.30 show.

After the show Wingy decided to lose some money on the roulette and we wandered around Excalibur, New York New York and the Luxor - all of which were very impressive.... (as Wingy would say!!).
