So I live in a palace, seriously.
Villa Corsi-Salviati was built in the 16th century and has been rocking ever since. The family were like noble dukes, and the place is huge. A villa is more like a "summer cabin" so to say, so they would live here in the summer to escape the city. Now, the count owns it and rents it out to us. We have 2 gardens, an informal garden where we can run around and be wild, and a formal garden where there is a reflection pool and a fountain, and it's amazing! We got to look at the Guicciardini apartments, which is the count's famaily who comes around now every once and a while. They have the most amazing Venetian glass chandeliers and huge paintings on the wall. The villa is a big deal, any book that talks about gardens in Italy or Tuscany, the Villa is usually represented in every book, and is documented beyond belief. We're kind of a big deal.
