What a day.I got dropped off in town to get the bus- I had to wait nearly 2 hours.When it arrived I had to plead for a place as it was full .
Arrived at Jo'burg station nervous after all the stories. Phoned Backpacker to be picked up and waited... and waited.Hanging around the coach station after dark was a nightmare come true.
After 45 min I phoned again to find my lift had been ; couldn't find me and I and had just caught her as she was leaving. Phew!
All the back in the car she ranted that her assistant should have known to give me directions and how dangerous Jo'burg is as she waved a stun gun in my direction.
Have had an incredible time in South Africa but am now looking forward to Singapore and beyond.
