Today we drove to Taringarie National Park, staying at Boundary Hill Resort. This place is fantastic, there are 4 lodges at the moment with a least another 3 in construction that I can see. Each lodge is different in layout and has open views to the national park, i.e. when you shower you look out the floor to ceiling windows onto the park. The dinning area is also open air with a fantastic view of the park.

We went into the park today for a safari drive; we saw lots of Elephant and Giraffe. There were also Impala, Hartebeest, warthog and Leopard Tortoise. I saw my first snake which was a dead Puff Adder. If you were to take the animals out of the landscape you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the Kimberley. The Boabo are huge here, probably 2-3 times the size of the biggest I have seen in Australia.

Today started with a morning walk for about 2 hours and then was relaxing for the remainder of the day. We went spotlighting after dinner but the spotlight broke down just after we started so we only saw a small native cat. But it was nice anyway.
