Apartment finally :)

Well we have finally moved into the apartment over the weekend. Things are finally starting to settle down now.

Had Shu and Sansan, both friends of Liyan's ( old flatmates ) over for dinner last night and I cooked lol.

Had a chicken and tomato casserole with vegetables which I cooked, and getting the ingredients was a little adventure as I went to the supermarket alone yesterday afternoon.  They had never had anything like this before, but Liyan, Shu and Sansan seemed to enjoy it, will wait and see tonoght when I cooked dinner again :)

Had an icident in the shopping centre as well which was a little funny, well to me anyway. Was getting the veges and was inline with a lady infront of me when then guy just pushed his way thru to pushed the ladies veges off the counter for his to be next, we both just looked at him, I pushed his away and put the ladies back in front of mine, the guy was a little taken back and angry now, but thank god for my Ipod lol. Not that I could understand him anyway. But with listening to my Ipod, well just  made him a little angrier and he went to another line lol.

Then at the checkout, the checkout girl asked to see my wallet to make sure I had cash, I did not understand what she was asking me until a lady behind me told me what she was trying to say to me, which I did not know at the time was a cash only line :). Thought it was a little weird at first, until Liyan told me this is normal for cash only lines.

Anyway, slowly getting used to the different ways of living here, so all is good.

Will be going to get curtains today with Liyan. The place was filthy when we moved in, we are still cleaning, and the kitchen, oh my god :).

Will chat later, have to get ready for my shoppping adventure again soon.
