The rain seems to have passed and hopefully will stay away at least for this morning. I woke just before five and got up to make a cup of tea. We're running low on food again and really must find a way into Andorra La Vella or at least go to Ordino again to fetch supplies. We have enough for today but no bread, and we certainly won't be overeating! I'm going to see if I can call Australia today. There are phones around on our walks and I can always use the reverse charges option if they don't take credit cards. I need Alex to fax or email Novatel to confirm our bus back to Barcelona on the 5th. I'm not prepared to leave anything to chance and I have a feeling that if we phone we'll have the usual communication problem. No English!

Yesterday Barb sent a text to Andy to get him to ring the hotel but when he did they couldn't even put him through to the room as no one spoke any English. An interesting if frustrating situation. I definitely should have brought a phrasebook.

Barb has been sneezing for the whole time we've been here and this morning I woke coughing and feeling fluey. Hopefully it's nothing and won't develop into anything.

Walked into Ordino again today. It's quite a pleasant walk, downhill most of the way. Visited our little shop with the English speaking man, Comerc Babi, and stocked up on more supplies. Got some postcards and sent one to Warrina and one to Alex and Shaun. We were going to catch a bus home but as there wasn't one scheduled until after 1pm we just kept walking. It was easier this time, we didn't stop to rest so often and it seemed quicker. The round trip still took two hours.

The downside is I was carrying 10 kilos of groceries in my backpack and when I got back I had the closest thing to an asthma attack that I've ever had. Went to lie down after we had some lunch and felt so cold I had to get under the covers, but I coughed and coughed, started wheezing and finally had to use my inhaler. Stayed in bed for two hours but still feel light headed. Took my pulse and it's 140. No wonder I don't feel up to par.

Tomorrow we're going to stand by the bus stop and wait until we can get into Andorra la Vella. Barb thinks we should hire a car to get to the places we want to go as the buses seem to run infrequently.

We haven't had any joy with phones. I tried a public phone but it only took phone cards so we were stymied again. I checked the reverse charges scheme that Telstra operates and Andorra isn't party to it, so I can't even do that. Hopefully I can get a phone card in Andorra la Vella tomorrow.

It's very windy right now, howling around the hotel and through any cracks it can find, but the weather is still mild and sunny. It sounds as if it should be freezing as it tears down the valley.

Went to bed early and hoped I wasn't heading for heart failure!
