Well after an 10 hour bus ride I arrived to Granadaand just a word of advice do not get the seat by the washroom the smell was a little to much for this farm boy.

Granada is awesome it is a colonial town with beautiful spanish archritecture, very laid back city on beautiful lake Nicaragua. The people a very friendly there are tons of people from all over the world dutch, Germans, USA, French, Canadians I even met someone from Aneroid, Saskatchewan which is 150klm from my home town. Everyone has a great story I met a guy from california that has driven down here with his gas guzzling chev pick up truck, I asked him if he felt safe and he said he only had one problem at the Hondorus border either that that he has picked up hitchhikers and has been having a great experience.

Granada is awesome

There are tons of expats living down here. The area is buzzing with real estate buying and sellingeveryone I run into is looking for property the prices are still fairly reasonable but indications look like it will be over priced like costa rica in a few years.

Meals hotels are cheap, I stayed in a great hotel for $40 and had great meal with 2 beers one mojuito for $9. I will hopefully have some pictures to share soon. Only 8 more days and Shelly will arrive. I hope all is well with everyone

Adios

Mike
