The Grampians are located in the mid-west of Victoria and are part of the Great Dividing Range. It is basically an area of lakes, walks, wineries and waterfalls. When we arrived in the Grampians it was early morning and it was sort of grey and drizzley out we weren't expecting it to be such a great day.... Then our luck changed for the better - on the side of the highway was a huge mob of Kangaroos. We had mostly only seen 1, 2 or at the most 3 kangaroos at one time prior to this sighting. It was quite amazing seeing so many of them all at the same time. We pulled over to the side of the road and tried to get closer to them for a better look. These particular Kangaroos were not having any of that and they would always hop further away the closer we got. It was fun trying though. After our interactions with the kangaroos it was off to do some hiking. Michael and I were in particularly goofy moods that day and spent most of our day in fits of hysterics laughing over some joke or another that probably nobody else would even find remotely funny. It was so fun, although I think we greatly disturbed the wildlife. We saw many beautiful waterfalls, lookouts, and natural land formations. There is one picture included here of a place called Halls Gap, in which there is a town squished in between 2 mountains. There is also a picture included in which after reading the caption, should be a pretty clear indication of the moods we were in that day!
