Diving Mecca, Could Be Betta

Having bought the SE Asia dive sites book at Bali airport we went straight out to try a hot spot near Manila.  Unfortunately the two typoons have wrecked the reefs.  The visibility is low but improved loads over the four days. Did the Canyons which is apparently the site to do and got to say it was pretty special - huge schools of fish, big sweetlips, trevailly, tuna and just an abundance of life at about 25metres.  Nice current too which pushed me over a t a nice pace.

Nightlife

The other thing to do here is go out and drink.  But its a bit of a dive. Excuse the pun. All go go bars and old white guys with young philippinos. Theres a great bar at the point of the two bays thought. Its happy hour between 5.30 adn 6.30 and the geckos come and drink the condensation off your cool drinks. After that we have some food, probably too much to be fair and then we head to bed for the movie on Cable.  Sad, I know..
