We drove back (well Theresa and Darren did) from Whistler to Victoria to stay at Theresa's for another couple of nights. We didn't do much the night we got back, we just headed out for some food at a buffet India place. I thought it was OK but the others weren't too impressed with the buffet. Rick started gagging outside and we all had a jolly good laugh at what a fine advertisment for a resturant it was when someone is throwing up outside, Rick wasn't actually sick tho, which was nice.

We headed to blockbusters to get a vid for the evening (Flight Plan) and I bought myself a shiny new Nintendo DS Lite. Now some people, including my travelling companions, may consider this somewhat of an over indulgence when we're travelling on a strict budget of around 27 quid a day - especially when you consider I already own a functionaly identical Ninendo DS. However, I had 3 very sound and sensible reasons...

1) They look pretty and I wanted one

2) They are smaller and lighter than the DS by around an inch, I was therefore reducing both the bulk and weight of my rucksack.

3) I could sell my old one to Rick and we could play games multiplayer!

Proof if proof be need be.

We watched Flight Plan which was pretty good, quite suspenseful and had some good (if fairly umbelievable) twists. It gets 3.5 / 5.

The next day we went for a bit of a jog. Well Rick, Nikki and I went for a bit of a jog. Theresa and Patrice went for a whole one. That evening Joe and Jaime came round and we had a fantastic Salmon BBQ, the fish was caught fresh that day and tasted amazing. After the food we headed to a bar in town were you can play beech vollyball on the roof. Me and Patrice headed off home to pack after as we were going to seattle horribly early in the morning - Rick and Nikki would be following the next day as Rick was waiting for his cash card to arrive at Theresa's from the UK. They stayed out and went to a strip club. I wasn't bothered about missing out on this though. It was fine.
