This was a great time for a wonderful cause; the Children's Wish Foundation.

The were about 40 of us camping close together from the Sackville, Fall River, area...some of the people belonged to the music groups that were playing for the weekend.  There were five different bands and all the free corn you could eat.

...the party rocked all weekend long ...

The music and the party rocked all weekend long and a huge bonfire burned all night with people gathering around it singing.

Even the chicken had to get warmer duds on.

One bad incident marred the weekend and that was a freak accident in which a friend's girlfriend was backing up their car and her foot slipped off the break and hit the gas and went flying backwards to run over two other friends in their tent.

It was one of the most horrible things I've ever witnessed, mostly because I could see it happening in slow motion and knew exactly what was going to happen.

Although pinned under the bumper temporarily neither of the tent's occupants was seriously injured.
