Day 1 Nutolda Beach- a local taxi driver took me and Natalie (aussie girl i met) We were stunned by it sbeauty and how empty the beach was. The locals were riding horses along the beach barebacked. Very warm , even the sea was like a hot bath- unbelievable. A very enjoyabel 1st day in Fiji. Had factor 20 and still burned (unusual for me)! How big is the oozone hole above Fiji????????  Crashed at 5pm as so jet lagged, missed dinner too! Must have been tired!
Day 2 Calculated i slept for 14hrs! Yikes oh well must have needed it, still only 7am when i got up. Nat and i took a catemeran to Southsea Island- Oh my god its tiny but gorgeous. Sunbathed most of the day. Also went snorkelling in the coral reefs and crystal clear waters- some cool fish out there ;o) Cooled off in the lovely pool and had a nap on a hammock.  Took a submarine trip out to the coral reefs to get a better look at all the amazing marine life. BBQ lunch and drinks were free all day- i tired not to over indulge, esp on the alcohol as tempting as it was. Met an Irish girl and then the beers started. Would be rude not to try the local brew! Nat and i ended up staying the night on the tropical Island, Bit crazy seeing as we had nothing but our bikinis and towels with us, but hey what more do we need?! There were only 25 of us on the island including the locals. Had another amazing yummy meal cooked by the local and then the music started. We played some games and watched the sunset- wow . Then the stars came out -gobsmacked, never seen them so clearly and such a constellation! Was breathtaking. The aussie explained all about the Southern Cross and how the stars were opposite of us in Europe, i must say guys that theirs is much more impressive. Though we can hardly star gazed in the Uk -wonder why?! stayed up late into the nigth drinking beers on the beach- fab. Nat and i lucked out big time. There were only 2 rooms in the big hut. We got a room to ourselves , the other 20 had to share!

Day 3 Up at 6am and enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching the sunrise. Felt a bit manky but hey that's desert island life for ya! My feet seem to have swollen up with the sun and mozzie bites! Oh well a smalll price to pay for paradise! More yummy food was cooked up and more sunbathing done. Was treated to more local singing and then got the catemeran back at lunchtime. We got to cruise around some of the other amazing island on our way back through the Manamuncas. Nat and I picked which island we would visit the next day- Mana Island was our choice. Castway(film) looked lovely but pretty small like Southsea. We had a thunderstorm back at Nadi, it only lasted an hour and it was still bloody roasting afterwards- good job we have the air con room ;o) !Â

Day 4 Early rise again but well worth it. Got the catemeran to Mana Island. were greeted by the locals singing and dancing- how sweet. We had a nosey around the resort, v posh. Then Nat and i headed to the north beach. We dragged a couple of sun loungers down into the sea. wow Now this is PARADISE! The beach was desserted! Posed and took some cracking snaps of the breathtaking scenery. I was lucky to be there! Tanned again and swam in the sea. Nat left for the pool and i had the whole beach to myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How much do i want to stay here forever!!!!!!!!!!!! Just send me over Brad Pitt ha ha!   Had yet another sumptious all you can eat buffer lunch. The fruit was so juicy and fresh. Walked off lunch by strolling along the South Beach, got caught in a thunderstorm but was fun as it cooled us down. Headed into the bar for a few cocktails while we waited for the catermeran back. When we got back to the hostel there was a Kava ceremony which was fun to watch. What friendly and happy people the locals are ;o) Will be gutted to leave tomorrow ;o(Â

Day 5 yes up early again. Nat and I went to Nadi beach, its more like Troon beach! Not v impressive compared to the others we have been to. Still it was clean and we tanned and enjoyed the peacefulness. Had to leave for airport at 11am. Said "Cheerio" to Nat. We've had a great time hanging out together. It sure makes a stay more enjoybale when you meet someone fun to gad around with.
Farewell Fiji - YOU ARE THE BEST- WHAT AN AMAZING BEAUTIFUL FRIENDLY COUNTRY YOU ARE !!! I WILL BE BACK! HASTA LA VISTA!Â
