So where did I leave off... oh yeah, we are at the bus station at 7:30 or so. I have had about 1 hour of sleep.

Luckily the hostel that we had booked here in Granada, had sent directions to the hostel from the bus station. So I was able to do this using just my blackberry. We rode the #3 bus to some plaza, followed some foutains and tiny streets, and then found our hostel parked somwhere in an obscure corner of some other plaza.

We got there at 08:20. Hostel opens at 08:30 but they let us in and got our information, we paid etc. Then they let us eat breakfast with them! Breakfast in Spain, if I haven't already mentioned, is bread, jam, juice, and coffee.

We met some cool Americanos that were doing the college backpacking through europe thing. They were super nice. From Cali. They had just arrived on a similar bus from Northern Spain. 14 hours.

We all slept on the roof togehter. There were 3 lounge chairs. I played gentleman for once and took the teracota tiles.

When we woke up at noon, we were able to check into the hostel properly as our rooms were now cleaned. Amy and I got a nice little room and the two cali girls got an adjoining double room.

Amy slep for a few hours while the girls and I went out to find out about tickets to see Alhambra, and to find some food.

It turns out that in Granada you can buy a beer for 1.60 and you get free food with every beer. We had 3.

I went back and got Amy, typed up yesterdays journal, booked our flights to Paris from Barcelona, and attempted to find a hostel in Granada for tomorrow.

We ended up meeting two girls from Vernon, down in the kitchen. They were cool. Young, 18 I think. We invited them for beers and tapas and a tea room later that night

Amy and I then headed up to meet Carlos (bud from Valencia Hostel). We headed over for more beer and tapas. The girls from Vernon and their nice UK friend joined us. 4 more tapas, 4 more beers (little ones). Don't worry Mom, I was sober.

We headed over to find a tea house. We smoked a hooka (shi sha). Harmless flavoured tobacco that is incinerated into a steam. After that we explored the night life for a bout an hour, checking out all the people and places. Then headed home.
