In April 2005, Laura, Karl and I had had enough of work and needed a break, we got a last minute deal to Costa Brava, we flew on Ryan Air which is pretty Basic, it only took us an hour to get there which was fab.

The weather was good for April and pretty warm, few days where overcast but still wasn't as cold as England!

Go in the summer season!

To be honest it was the beginning of the season when we went so there wasn't much to do but Lloret De Mar is a nice resort, the beach is lovely and very white but pebbly.

We found a lovely little beach bar where they served "Super Duper" Cocktails, these things where enormous!  See pictures for more details LOL

Laura and I loved sitting there ont he beach and drinking these lovely drinks and we all just had random chats.

We had a really good laugh one night when we went to a karaoke bar and all got hammered.  I fell off my own shoe! I didnt even have heels on.

I'd say this place is great for families and friends going away as there is loads of nightlife, you just gotta go when its the season!
