Las Vegas Shows
From Las Vegas Getaway in Las Vegas, United States on Jun 28 '06
Got up early and decided to do a walking tour of the hotel lobbies in Vegas. I know, seems like an unusual thing to do but Vegas hotels are unlike any other hotels in the world and they are all beside each other (at least in proximity it is still a lot of walking from hotel to hotel) Each hotel has a theme and they go all out on their lobby's.
Our hotel, the Paris, is designed with French style streets inside. It even has a 3/4 size Eiffel Tower. At the front is a great French Cafe and inside is a very good french bakery. We had breakfast at the bakery and lunch at the cafe. We had several meals at the cafe. The escargo ot was fantastic!
After breakfast in the cafe we went to Ceasars. A Roman themed hotel Ceasars lobby is beautiful. Marble floors, statues and fountains all in Roman style. They also have the forum shopping plaza which is the nicest shopping area we encountered (at least in size layout etc) Many expensive shops that seemed to attract more browsers than shops.
Later that night we went to the O show in Balagio
- dinner 1st - toured - flipping bar - blue man in Venitian 2nd - helicopter tour grand canyon - returned
