Well, the big adventure has started and we headed south out of Anchorage. It was a beautiful drive with a great view of the Turnagain Arm. We stopped for a great roadside lunch and hike to watch some flyfishermen. We took a little side trip to Hope, which was the first gold mining settlement and oldest school in Alaska. We are officially on the Kenai peninsula and are chilling in our deluxe chalet, which doubles as a fisherman’s trailer. Great pic of the sisters by Michele…she is really tolerating the sisters well so far.
