The end of Turkey

Turkey has been a surprise in many ways, rich in history and overflowing with places to explore. The people are warm and friendly. It sits at the cross roads of east and west. Woman dressed in head scarfs walking the streets next to woman dressd with tight skinned revealing clothing. Men carrying Islam prayer beads reading the section in the paper with photos of naked woman. Fast moving sports cars passing on the roadside, horse drawn carts coming from the fields. A country crazy about football (soccer), as the sreets become ghost like during a big match. Im not sure where Turkey is in all of this, and I get the feeling they're not sure either. Which makes for an intresting place to explore. It has been a wonderful and ongoing growing experience for me and now I continue my trip south!
