River boat is the only mode of travel when visiting the Perfume Pagoda. And it is a slow boat indeed, one and a half to one hour depending on the age of your driver and the combined weight of his cargo. But the sunsetting on the way back to the bus, after our pilgrimage, was breathtaking...unfortunately we had run out film by then. So I'll describe it in words. It was orange.
