For the kids first Exeat of the year, we decided to take a weekend trip to the Peak District even though it was out of season. We stayed at the Rutland Arms in Bakewell. We visited the Chatworth House grounds. This is a famous house that you see in lots of movies like Jane Eyre and The Dutchess. We walked around the grounds and David offered 5 Pounds for the first kids to touch a sheep - no one collected the prize. We had lunch in a pub and headed to Castleton where we went on a boat through an underground canal to a large cavern.

The next day we went to an animal conservation park that had owls, otters and deer.
