Cusco, Peru - Day 10

After machu picchu, we took the bus down to Aguas Caliente where we just hung out for most of the afternoon. there was a thermal spa there but we didnt go...some of the guys did but i was too exhausted at this point. instead we walked around the little town...in all of 10 minutes and then waited for our train to Ollaytaytambo where a bus picked us up and go back to Cusco.

i previously booked Amaru hostel or hotel because it was recommended by JN. i totally spurgled on a nice room since i knew how much i needed a good shower and a nice bed after 4 days of trekking. but by the time we arrived in Cusco...which was around 10 or so. i had to go back to my original hostel...pick up my stuff...go to new hotel to check in....get ready and come back out by 1130. a bunch of us wanted to go out for drinks that night before we all move onto the next part of our journey.

so we hung out at Norton´s or whatever its called....a pub near my hotel. only some of us came out...it was a long long day already....we were up since 4am. we hung out, ate, drank, played bottle jenga haha so fun! i thought i was going home after that but we went to mama africa´s for clubbing! hahaha clubbing in cusco...it wasnt so bad. they played a lot of house...lots of tourists and some locals. the bars in cusco love to put a lot of alcohol so my rum and coke was rum with no coke almost. we hung out there for a bit and went to somewhere else in san blas to find another club but it was closed...duh it was maybe like wednesday or tuesday night. so at this point we said our goodbyes and went home. i went back to my hotel to sleep for an hour and got up to pack cuz i had to catch my 8am flight to La Paz...time just fly by so quickly!
