First stop was to see my mom's brother, Uncle Tim, Aunt Jeri, and my cousin Nate with his wife Adriana.  My cousin Jennifer and her husband Chris stayed in Colorado Springs with their children Kaiya and Andrew, but they were in touch for the festivities via the webcam.  Christmas is a big deal at the Atwood's, and we always have a great time with them.  My Uncle Tim is quite the jokester and I was really surprised that my present from him wasn't wrapped in an entire roll of duct tape.  I even brought my new tactical knife (um, merry christmas to me), just in case.  I got lots of great loot there, fleecy Tweety pj's, a universal socket set, and lots of great stuff for Iraq from the Marine who has been there twice (Nate) and Adriana.

We were very sad to leave and sorry that we couldn't stay longer, but we had to be on our way to visit my mom's twin brother, Dave, and his family.  As we were leaving, we were visited by a flock of about 17 wild turkeys.  Wow!  Can you say Christmas Dinner?
