We've left the crazy traffic behind of Saigon and are now in Mui Ne - a 5 hour bus trip away. Mui Ne is famous for its sand dunes which we will be exploring but it also has a really nice beach - and its a whole 11km long. Wind-surfing is very popular here with the wind picking up usually every afternoon; there's also OK surf and excellent kite-surfing facilities. Mui Ne is really developing into a nice 'resort' with every budget catered for and nearly all accommodation running onto the beach. It seems to be very coupley though so I think our stay here will be short. In saying that, the 3 of us managed to get highly intoxicated last night, availing of the 'buy one bottle of white wine, get one free'. Not good for the head this morning. I think we drank 3 bottles each - that's just obscene!!

Needless to say the next day was a bit of a right off. Ah well. The following day we toured around Mui Ne in the back of a 4x4. Read the review for more info and photos.

Chilling out in Mui Ne..

We left Mui Ne the next day heading further north up the coast of Vietnam. We're looking forward to more sun and hopefully a better night life scene; although we have enjoyed our few days chilling out here in Mui Ne.
