Nemo's, Turtles and Fire

We decided that we deserved a little bit of pampering and booked ourselves 3 days 2 nights at a resort on the beautiful Island of Redang.  We stayed at the beautiful Laguna Hotel where we were surrounded by white sandy beaches and beautiful blue seas.  Much of our time here was spent snorkeling and just relaxing by the beach,which in itself is very hardwork.

Whilst snorkeling in various places round the island we saw stingrays, lots of nemo fish and a big scary grouper (please see attached photos to be extremely jealous).  Once snorkelling was over the only reasonable thing todo was to stuff ourselves stupid with the all you can eat buffet-it usually ended with us all grabbing our bellys in extreme pain from consuming ridiculous amounts of tasty food.

After leaving the island of Redang it was straight over to the Perhentian Islands, where we stayed on the smaller of the 2 Kecil.  Again it was a very stressful time as we had to put up with more sandy beaches,blue seas and snorkelling around beautiful coloured coral. We got to swim with about 6 massive turtleswhilst on the island, which was amazing-we even got to stroke them.

However we did have to do the most exercise we are probably ever going to do whilst away when the chalets next door burntdown.  Fireman Adele came to the rescue and helped put it out, which meant lugging huge buckets of water from the sea up the beach...stressful times. Luckily no1 was hurt, but i definately strained every muscle i have in my body.
