It was a surprising warm night. I thought it may have got cold over night being up so high. I got up around 7am. We were on the lookout for anything in the jungle. We really saw nothing except wasps, birds and butterflies. We herd some other strange noises but were not to sure what they were.
Breakfast was brought over to us around 8am. More rice. It was good though. The plan was to have breakfast get ready to trek to the waterfall. We were told it would be around a 3 hour walk. It was good getting off to an early start so we would not be walking in the hottest part of the day.
It was a full moon. The natural light was amazing. It was really light.

We set off. I was still half asleep until I hooked on to the cable to boost out of the tree house. It was wicked flying down the cable for the first time in the morning. Over night due had built up on the wire. I was dripping wet buy the time i made the other side. I was awake. We treaked deeper into the jungle.
On the journey to the water fall we got to hit about 8 or 9 cables. I was amazed how many there were ! We also got to go on the fastest and longest wire. 600 metres in around 10 seconds. So wiCkeD! After the challanging walk we ended up at the waterfall. It was really a murky pond. You could hear heaps of frogs and who knows what else. Their was water trickling over a rock. I was guessing this was the water fall. I could imagine maybe more of a waterfall in the rainy season. It was still great to be able to get wet. After hanging out around the pond for a while we were served lunch.

More rice. Yum. After lunch we were taken to the next tree house. It was even higher than the first ! Only 6 of us could stay there and 2 of the american lads were taken to another close tree house. After we had dropped our gear off we were free to do what we wanted. I went on a mission to get some crazy photos off the wires. I crused round the jungle for a couple more hours. I nearly got lost at one part trying to get back to our tree house. When i got back every one was just hanging out chatting in the tree.

We had another rice based meal and were chilling out. We herd the wire in the tree start so scream. Some one was coming over. We were greated buy three conservation researchers. They were from a group called 'Save The Beers'. They explained many of these areas had not been explored and they were trying to see what species of animals and insects were in the area. They also had a baby bear back at the staff camp they were trying to realise into the wild. They were pretty interesting.

They told us the reson why only 6 people were allowed to sleep in the tree house we were in. I wish they didn't. They said that earthquakes had just started happening in Laos and about 3 weeks ago there was a 6.5 earthquake on the ricta scale. But thats not all. The Epi center was right where we were ! They then proceded to say they were staying with us for the night. Shit.
It was a full moon. The natural light was amazing. It was really light.
