Jeez! We over expected here. this place I guarantee will be buzzing in the winter and the ski season. Why on earth did we think people would be here. We booked ahead from Salzburg expecting the hostel to be booked and it turned out that we were the only people in the whole bloody building (apart from the staff of course).

Pretty enough with a ragging waterfall cascading through the town which sits at an altitude of over 1000m but other than that the place was a little bland but then this is a ski resort and this was June for gods sake! Our 2 day planned stay rapidly reduced to 1 and that was only because we couldn't get to Bled in Slovenia in time.

Don't come here in summer, nothing is open and its full of old locals escaping city life that move at 1 mph. We found a bar open that was relaxed and lively enough and that's because it was populated with Swedish hotel staff workers and ski instructors turned bar man for the rich bods staying in the Hilton where we also had a drink.

It was cold there too. Barely 2 degrees it was at 10 am the following morning but we would slowly be descending into Slovenia but we would stay in the Slovenian Alps for 2 days in a place known as Bled...
