LAST STOP: Langkawi, Malaysia THE FINALE!!!!!!

After a couple weeks of traveling it's nice to end it at the beach. As I type my last post I'm sitting in the hotel lobby area looking out to the beautiful beach, the ocean, palm trees, and other islands in the distance. The past two days have been nothing but relaxation. We mostly worked on our tans by laying in the sun all day listening to our music and reading our books. I finished Eat Pray Love. I never have much opinions about books so here's my best go at it. A woman searching for herself after a divorce. She travels to Italy to indulge, India to meditate, and Indonesia for a vacation. I like how she talks in a real voice, especially how she writes the thoughts in her head. I guess it was a decent book but by no means am I shouting to the world everyone has to read it. Anyways, other than the sun I walked the beach once, got a full body massage, swam in the ocean (which I almost NEVER do because it's so salty, but the beach is soft and it's not rocky in the water), got a manicure and a pedicure, and overall just enjoyed myself. I still have tomorrow morning to bathe in the sun a bit but then it's flight after flight to get back to the US. Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok to Tokyo to Chicago on the 2nd and then drive back to Okemos on the 3rd.

Overall this trip has been one of the most amazing things I've ever done in my life. Everyone always says study abroad trips is a must in college, and now I see why. My study abroad trip let me study a part of my field that I need to understand for my future career while visiting sites I may never see again, all while meeting amazing people from around the world and doing it all with 15 amazing people from MSU. The trip afterwards introduced me to how to travel on my own. Letting me spend time with my sister and getting to know her two friends. Through bustling cities and relaxing on the beaches I've had one of the best times in my life. I encourage anyone and everyone to travel to many other countries in this world to explore, meet people, relax, and find out about themselves. Even though it's been a great trip I can't wait to go back to the states to see my family and friends!!!! Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible, especially my parents-I love you. Also for the people who joined the journey with me I thoroughly enjoyed your company. See you all back in the states!!!!
