From Spring Break!!! in Cancun, Mexico on Mar 31 '96
We threw together a trip to Cancun for spring break '96, my sophomore year at Delaware. I went with BFF Lauren and also two Shannons from college, one of the Shannons' boyfriend at the time, that guy's friend, and this random girl. We hit all of the spring break hot spots (La Boom, Carlos and Charlie's, Senor Frog's, Daddy Rock, Fat Tuesday's, etc.) and took the obligatory booze cruise. We also took a day off from partying and went to Xcaret eco-archaeological park, which was definitely a highlight: snorkeling, ruins, and chocolate ice cream that had too much fat to be exported to the US. We had a great time, but I realized that I am not a hardcore party girl. I don't know how those people do it. It was a terrific experience, and the girls and I had a terrific time.
