Most would have predicted my travels would have been thwarted by Hurricane Fay, but no, the obstacle was presented by an even greater (un)natural disaster.. yes you guessed it.. AMERICAN AIRLINES
After screwing around with us for about 5 hours (walking at least a mile between 3 different gates) they decided to cancel the flight for the day and even refused to give us our luggage for the evening advising us to perhaps do a spot of shopping in that case!
