This place sucks.

Once I checked in I was reminded of the weather I just drove from...Colorado River view...not from my hotel room.

So I got to Laughlin at noon and checked in.  Gold Nugget hotel was the best of the worst I heard....besides I am not paying for it so it is to lay my head.  Cigarette smoke everywhere and pensioners shuffling along the riverwalk...not the best place for an overly energetic guy to be looking for entertainment.

I am working at a small home health pharmacy this week, grabbin a lil money, easy, easy easy job...I sit in a chair and await my 2 hour lunch break.  I have actually run out of things to search for on the web.  The only thing I had to do was provide the key to the narcotic cabinet on Wednesday...easy right?

So Wed mornin is here and I cannot find the keys to the LC (land cruiser).  I asked the hotel to try to break in and even with all the tools we could not get in....I took a taxi across the border (why on earth did I not stay at a closer hotel!, dammit) $20 later I am at work early...punctual is good.

We need the key...so the delivery driver drops me back off at my hotel where I squint to try and see the keys inside..to no avail.  I call AAA and they send some small company to help me cuz I am not a member of AAA....

Bullhead City? Fun? Right, I am out of here, kiss it goodbye!

Another hour goes by and we break in nicely, easily by pulling the door away from the jam with something that resembled a blood pressure cuff.  The keys are laughing at me from the seat.  I am back at work now and the keys have opened the morphine box.  My job is done.  $65 wasted.

So Friday after work I am leaving for Taos, NM to play with my good friends Chris and Autumn, for a snowy adventure; snowboard, snowshoe, and surely more!  This will be good.  Only 600 miles!
