We spent day five at the Polynesian Cultural Center. This is where we got to go to a luau and show. We had a great time. Brian finally got to see his hula dancers. We had a tour guide on the bus who also took us around the center. His name was Cousin Billy. He was from Samoa where everyone is family so we were all cousins. At the Center we traveled to the 6 villages of the islands of the South Pacific. In each village we got to experience the customs and rituals of each island. The Center is a hands-on interactive learning environment so we got to do all kinds of activities such as hula dancing, fire starting, coconut husking, banana leaf weaving, and taste true polynesian foods. This was an all day event and were ready for bed at the end of the day.
