Roach Motel
From Jane's European Adventure! in Bucharest, Romania on Sep 16 '07
I think I am messing up the dates again, but I don't have a calendar so I don't really care. We got into Bucharest in the late afternoon and we met up with our tour guide. Then we had a bus tour around the city and saw all of the majour sites. It was very interesting to see, especially since it was in much more disarray than most of the other cities we had seen. It's amaying to think of how much that city has seen in the last 25 years though and how much it has recovered. We got to our hotel just before dinner and as soon as we saw our rooms we all wanted to leave. They were so gross....we weren't even sure if the sheets had been washed. Tiles were falling off in people's showers and the beds really weren't beds but old couches. Dinner wasnÄt very good either but after dinner, Jimmy, Matty, Ash, Johann and Glen and I all went into town to go bowling. I suck at bowling so it was definitely funny to watch I'm sure.
