After our long drive from the Grampians to Adelaide Belinda and I went to get dinner and crashed not long after. We had a free day in Adelaide on the 11th.

We decided to sleep in until we were good and ready to get up and then we headed to the Haighs Chocolates Visitor Center and Factory. The free samples were yummy! After our tour we went our separate ways and I visited the South Australian Art Gallery, SA Museum, the Migration Museum and the Tandanya Aboriginal Gallery. After walking around the Botanic Gardens until my feet were tired and sore I headed back to the hostel to make some pasta for my dinner. Adelaide is quiet but very pretty little city.

The next day we were up early and on our way to the Barrossa Valley for a wine tour. We stopped at the Big Rocking Horse and the Whispering Wall on the way to our first winery, Jacob’s Creek. The views and the wines here were very nice. Throughout the day were went to 3 more wineries, Vine Crest, Rockford and Bethany. By the time we got to Bethany winery, the last, we were all tasted out! We figured that we had 21 tastings that day!! All in all it was a good day, no one got really drunk and crazy, and the Barrossa Valley is very beautiful.
