the next few days...

the last couple of days have been quite quiet...lots of walking around the campus (which is massssive) and drinking starbucks-well there are 3 on campus so i should make good use of them!...i met a girl called Tania when i was sitting drinking my latte (yes mum..it was a good one :o)

anyway, i gave Tania my email address and we arranged to  meet up abit later that day. i've seen her quite abit over the last few days and we get on well. shes an international student too..abit of a confusing background but i think ive got my head around it now?! see, she has this american accent as she was born and raised-for some of her life-in America. then she moved to England for a couple of years and now she lives in Frankfurt-Germany...but anyway...

We've had dinner and lunch a couple of times and we went to the university mall yesterday. We went in this shop and came out of it having bought a pet each...yes, we bought some hermit crabs! you basically buy this starter kit which has all the essentials in and then you choose your crab. Then all have brightly painted shells and they're so cute! what happens is, they eventually become too big for their shells so you have to make sure you have a slightly bigger shell reading and waiting and then they gradually move themselves over to the bigger shell...quite clever really!...apart from, i had this scary dream about crabs last night so im not too sure what to make of my little pet now! ahhhh well! funny stuff!

ive got a few orientation events coming up tmro and for the rest of the week so i think things will get slightly busier and exciting..im enjoying myself though....loving the sunshine state right now! :)
