Praha was a hard stop for Peter and I. We had just left a month of lavish Europe life to be thrust back into budgets and hostels. Not an easy change! Therefore, the first few days in Prague where a bit disgruntled. We popped out of our slump in a beautiful city with more ancient Medieval building then any in Europe and found ourself loving Prague.

We were ecstatic about the amazingly large and beautiful plaza, the ancient cobbled winding streets, the Charles Bridge with its many statues lining the river, and the monstrous castle that over looks the entire city. Praha was a great city to visit, it truly had everything.

Its a great thing to get past the boundaries of tourism and find the local hangouts, its how cities should be visited.

Pete and I had been a little overwhelmed with the tourist scene and wanted to find the city its self. That we did, we found more cool Bohiemian cafes, bars and restaurants with what felt like not a single tourist around. Its a great thing to get past the boundaries of tourism and find the local hangouts, its how cities should be visited.

We found some great food for such reasonable prices it felt that we had left Europe all together, that sure did put a smile on our faces. Praha provided us with the cushion to get back on the bandwagon that is travel and push out this last month and half. We are coming up on the nine month mark and my god do we feel it!
