So this was it. Queenstown. Surely the place where I could overcome my fear of heights with mental activities such as Sky Diving, Bungy Jumping and Flying by Wire. Sign me up for the lot, right?

Well no not quite, because we got a little washed out with crap weather while we were here, and because I wanted to start with easiest height activity  to see if I really even wanted to attemp the others, we only managed to do the Fly by Wire. Its bascially a little plane, that you lie on top of, suspended like a pendulum across a valley that travels at 100km back and forth with you deciding which direction it goes. It was a good laugh alright but I´m glad we got it at the discont price of $100 as it aint worh anymore than that. Well I was happy with height activity number one over with and I deceided that I´d probably manage to do a sky dive alright!

We also wanted to do some white water rafting while we were here but due to freezing temperatures and rain we deceided to do that on the north island instead. Though a canadian girl we met said the heli rafting was brilliant and the weather didn´t really matter!

Queenstown itself is nice with plenty of shops and bars some of which we sampled with I must say a night to remember in Base Backpackers bar!

We also took a 2 day trip away to the Milford Sound where once again we saw some beautiful scenery of mountains, lakes and forest.
