We had our first experience riding the s-bahn today while heading to Munich. It took about an hour and was a nice ride.

We met a very nice couple that spoke english to us and kept us company on the train. They almost were kicked off because their tickets were incorrect, but our ticket for some reason was for 5 people so we saved them.

There was even a mummified baby.

Upon arriving in Munich we were overwhelmed at how many people there was. It was a very busy day in Munich.

The killing of someone you should know.

We basically walked around all day near the Marienplatz checking out all the shopping and then ran into the Residenz. We ending up paying for the tour of the residence and the treasury areas. It took over two hours to complete the whole thing. There were some really cool parts. Except for the room that contained some weird collections of body parts that were old and supposedly religious artifacts. There was even a mummified baby. Ewwww..... They also had what they think is the skull of John the Baptist and his Mom, Elizabeth. Creepy!

Dead babies everywhere... it didn't quite turn out good.. but you can kinda see it.

We then ended up eating at a small cafe in the street. It was an italian place. It was good.

We then headed over to the Hofbrauhaus. While there we noticed across the street was the Hard Rock Cafe so we went shopping there too!

There were a lot of people at the Hofbrauhaus. There was music and singing. A lot of soccer fans were there happy that their team had won their game.

At the end of a very long day, we took the "Bob" train back to Lenggries.
