The southernmost point of the Australian mainland, Wilsons Promontory became another highlight of our road trip. The coastline is framed by granite headlands, mountains, forests and fern gullies and we spent a few days there taking in the scenery on some spectacular walks.
On the first day with climbed to the summit of Mount Oberon to take in the panoramic views of the Prom, spent the afternoon reading Harry Potter (which I have now finished...oh my god!) on Norman beach and settled in for the night with the resident wombats.

Penny and I also walked the 20km through the ranges and gullies to the stunning Sealers Cove on the otherside of the Prom.
