Hi Guys, We have not been in touch for a while as we have now got into the slow way of life! We got to pennang and went over to batu ferringi as it was quieter and stayed at Alis place which was really good, we hire a motorbike for a day and toured the island, stopping off at snake temple (not many snakes) and some temples including the one with the 33ft reclining budda!

The roads were a bit of an experience, people drive like crazy here but you get used to it after a while. The sunsets were amazing every night and we say on the beach with a bag of beer on my birthday, it was very chilled out. The weather haqs been good but there have been storms on the evening with some great lightening shows out at sea.

We moved on to langkawi after a few days, we thought we'd be brave and hire a bike for three days. We rode to a quieter beach again which turned out to be around 15 miles away - a bit hairy with two large rucksacks :) Langkawi was quiet as everywhere seems to be at the moment so we had the beach to ourselves most days. We rode to a plcae called 7 wells inland were the water runs down the rocks into pools and off a water fall - means you get natural water slides - was great fun although we saw a water snake so we hopped out at that point!

Not much more to report there as we have not been doing much but eating, drinking and generally chilling out after action packed malaysia.
