Day 31: Jasper (Tony's Birthday)

Had a lazy morning eating bacon and pancakes and opening presents, then went for a drive to look at Pyramid Lake (beautiful mountain) and Maligne Canyon (very deep, with more waterfalls and rock formations).
Next we went back up to the hot springs to soak away the strains of yesterday (we really overdid it, what with riding for three hours then running up mountains).
Well, someone had to test the beer ...

The pools were just as enticing as last time, mmmm ...
Ended up at the Jasper Brewery so that Tony could test out the six types of beer they had on offer (well, someone had to, didn't they ?). They had a handy 6-glass sampler for him to try ...
All in all, a very nice relaxing day (for a change). It is quite strange actually staying in the same place for more than two days ... !
