We said goodbye the Bert and Agatha and the kids, really thankfull to be able to spend time with them.

We stopped at Hamelin Pool to see the stromatolytes. Apparently this is only one of two places in the world to see these living rocks.

The flies were BAD there. Agatha made us all fly nets and not even Ian was too embarrased to wear it for a little while.

The shell quarry was close by too, interesting to see.

We continued driving up to Carnarvon, which turned out to be a neat little town and the grocery prices were very reasonable so we stocked up.

We worshipped on sunday with the City of Palm Fellowship. Really enjoyed that. Most striking thing was that we had to get up in the middle of the service and wish each other God's blessing. They prayed for safety on our travels.

Carnarvon is the first city in Australia to receive TV by satelite and it is also known for its 1 mile jetty, so we set of to investigate and do some fishing.

Thanks to Agatha for the fly nets.

The jetty has a little engine called the Coffee pot for lazy or tired tourists we just tried it out!!

On the way out of Carnarvon we drove by its many mango and banana plantations and were also amazed to drive over the Gasoyne River whichwas totally dry a strange site.
