(Nick's story)

(Ronnie's story) We spent a very hot and humid afternoon searching for a reasonably priced place to stay for the week in Matemwe Beach.  What luck when we stumbled onto ZiVIllas!  The house had two large comfortable couches with fluffy pillows, cable TV, air-con in the bedrooms, a pool and was the backyard was just a few steps from the beach... plus we were served 3 square meals a day...Total luxury!

That week passed the most quickly of all my time in Africa so far. I spent hours watching trash TV (E Entertainment, re-runs an dB movies... perfect) with the occasional pull of a novel or two.  We had some dips in the pool and a fantastic time exploring the ocean when the tide was out.  During the day the women plant seaweed and the boys wade in 3 feet of water catching fish with their makeshift spears. The week was filled with just the right of R&R and WOW moments.
