Sunday morning we all crammed into Poppy’s van to go to the black sand beaches at Kamari. We spent nearly all day there soaking up the beloved sun. Some even went cliff jumping. By mid-afternoon a few of us, basically the boys plus Elizabeth and I, decided to hike up to the Ancient Ruins of Thira, which despite the blisters that resulted from our flip flops, was well worth the hike. Not only were the ruins interesting, but the view was absolutely astounding. That evening we headed back to Manos Villas, changed and went once again to watch the sun set. Elizabeth and I found this posh little restaurant with the perfect view. Despite the rather steep prices, which were well worth the view, we sat on the balcony watching one of the most incredible sun set’s I’ve seen. It was just beautiful. Afterwards we ate once again at Lucky’s and then spent the evening wandering around Thira, the small portions of it that were even alive that is. (In the off season the city basically shuts down).

We spent nearly all day there soaking up the beloved sun.
